Timmy has been cycling and painting his way along the entire River Shannon in Ireland, travelling roughly 1,500 km through Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands The Shannon begins in the North, rises at Shannon Pot and Timmy followed it all the way dwon to Limerick. Along the journey he has explored towns and landmarks including Athlone and Shannonbridge, crossed many bridges, taken in the great Loughs - Lough Erne, Lough Derg, and Lough Ree and shared lively updates about the changing character of the river, from its boggy middle stretches to its narrowing approach near Limerick. These are the Ireland's Hidden Heartlands, more than just the boggy bit in the middle!
