This is an adventure around Northern Ireland – affectionately known as 'Norn Iron'. I began in Belfast in relentless rain –– with a warm and genuine lovely Irish welcome.

Follow my 750 miles (1200 kilometres) clockwise route around the quirky land boundary. Find villages that span the invisible border and places where a house may be in the UK and the garden in the Republic!

Norn Iron is full of beautiful surprises, great images to paint and wonderful people to meet with great stories to share.

Take the time to meet the hand of friendship.
